These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Alvora AI platform, including hire.alvora.ai and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Alvora LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company ("Alvora", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

Alvora AI is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform. It provides:

  • Resume analysis and candidate matching for recruiters
  • AI-generated screening questions and interview preparation for applicants
  • Video interview simulation with behavioral and technical scoring
  • Eye tracking behavioral analysis during video interviews
  • AI-generated evaluation reports for recruiters

The Platform serves two user types: Recruiters and Applicants. Each has distinct permissions and access levels within the Platform.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform to discriminate against candidates based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent resumes, job postings, or credentials
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform
  • Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited messages, or conduct phishing
  • Share your account credentials with any other person
  • Use automated bots or scripts to access the Platform
  • Upload content that violates any third-party intellectual property rights

4. Recruiter Responsibilities

Recruiters using the Platform agree to:

  • Use AI evaluation scores as one input among many — not as the sole basis for hiring or rejection decisions
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws
  • Disclose to applicants that AI tools are used in the screening and evaluation process
  • Obtain any required consent from applicants before conducting video interviews with eye tracking enabled
  • Not use the Platform to collect data beyond what is necessary for legitimate hiring purposes

5. Applicant Responsibilities

Applicants using the Platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in their profile and resume
  • Consent to AI analysis of their resume, screening responses, and video interview
  • Understand that video interviews may include eye tracking and behavioral analysis
  • Not use AI assistance, scripts, or third-party tools during live video interviews

6. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

The Platform uses artificial intelligence — specifically Amazon Nova via AWS Bedrock — to generate interview questions, evaluate responses, and produce scoring reports. All AI outputs are:

  • Generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • Intended as informational tools to assist human decision-making, not to replace it
  • Not legal, professional, or definitive assessments of any candidate

Recruiters are solely responsible for all hiring decisions made using the Platform. Alvora AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, algorithms, scoring methodologies, prompts, and branding on the Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Alvora LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content
  • Use Alvora AI's name, logo, or branding without prior written consent
  • Claim ownership over any AI-generated output produced by the Platform

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, rubrics). By uploading content, you grant Alvora LLC a limited license to process and analyze that content for the purpose of delivering the Platform's services. We do not sell your content to third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALVORA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HIRING DECISIONS MADE BASED ON AI OUTPUTS, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alvora LLC, its members, founders, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Platform in a manner that could harm other users or Alvora LLC. You may close your account at any time by contacting lakshya@alvora.ai.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, conducted in English. You waive any right to a jury trial.
